Exercise Physiology
Clinical exercise interventions for chronic disease management, injury rehabilitation, and improved health outcomes. Our exercise physiologists design evidence-based programs tailored to your needs.
What is Exercise Physiology?
Exercise physiology is an allied health profession that uses evidence-based exercise interventions to prevent and manage chronic diseases, injuries, and disabilities. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university-qualified specialists in clinical exercise prescription.
Unlike general fitness training, exercise physiology focuses on the therapeutic benefits of exercise for people with health conditions. We work closely with your GP and other healthcare providers to design safe, effective programs tailored to your specific needs.
Did you know? Exercise is considered medicine. Regular physical activity can be as effective as medication for managing conditions like type 2 diabetes, depression, and cardiovascular disease.
