Rahul completed his MBBS in India in 2008. He then completed the Australian Medical Council examinations and worked in the emergency departments of Warragul Hospital and Werribee Mercy Hospital. In 2019, he chose to pursue GP training to provide continuity of care to his patients.
Rahul began his GP training in Echuca and continued it in Kyneton in 2019/2020. In February 2021, he moved to Bacchus Marsh for the final training. He attained his fellowship in February 2022. He has also completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has mental health skills training.
His interests include emergency care, minor surgical procedures, antenatal and postnatal care, child health, geriatric medicine, sexual health, chronic disease management, and medical education. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, cricket, PlayStation, photography, and travelling.
