Bulk billing is becoming rare across Melbourne's west. At Reliance Care, it's how we keep your family's GP care accessible — see your doctor without worrying about the cost.

No Out-of-Pocket for GP Visits

Standard GP consultations are fully bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders — including on weekends and public holidays.

Open 7 Days

Bulk-billed appointments are available every day of the week, so cost and timing are never a barrier to seeing a doctor.

Whole-Family Care

From childhood immunisations to chronic disease reviews and aged care — bulk-billed care for every stage of life, under one roof.

Multilingual Doctors

Our GPs speak Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Telugu, Arabic and more — quality bulk-billed care in the language you are most comfortable with.

What is Bulk Billing?

Bulk billing means you don't have to pay for your medical service. We bill Medicare directly and accept the Medicare benefit as full payment for the consultation. You simply sign a form or press OK on the EFTPOS terminal after your appointment.

To be bulk billed, you need to be enrolled in Medicare and bring your Medicare card to your appointment. It's that simple — no invoices, no claiming back a rebate later.

Bulk Billing FAQs

Is Reliance Care Medical Centre bulk billed?

Yes. Standard GP consultations at our Truganina clinic are fully bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders — there is no out-of-pocket cost, including on weekends and public holidays. Bring your Medicare card to your appointment. A small number of services (such as insurance and pre-employment medicals, cosmetic procedures and some travel vaccinations) attract a private fee — our reception team will always tell you before any charge applies.

What does bulk billing actually mean?

Bulk billing means we bill Medicare directly and accept the Medicare benefit as full payment for your consultation. You pay nothing for the visit — you simply sign a form or tap OK on the EFTPOS terminal afterwards. To be bulk billed you need to be enrolled in Medicare and bring your Medicare card.

Do I need a Medicare card to be bulk billed?

Yes — bulk billing applies to eligible Medicare card holders. Please bring your current Medicare card (and any concession or DVA card) to every appointment. If you are not eligible for Medicare, our reception team can explain the private consultation fee before you see the doctor.

Are children and immunisations bulk billed?

Yes. Childhood immunisations and standard GP consultations for children are bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders. All of our GPs see children, and we also have a dedicated paediatrician for more complex care.

Are weekend and after-hours appointments still bulk billed?

Yes. Unlike many clinics, we do not charge a gap or surcharge on weekends or public holidays — standard GP consultations remain fully bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders 7 days a week.

Is the iron infusion procedure bulk billed?

The GP consultation to assess and prescribe an iron infusion is bulk billed, and the medication is PBS-subsidised. There is a separate administration fee for the infusion procedure itself. See our iron infusion page for full details, or ask our reception team for current pricing.

Do you bulk bill patients from Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing and Point Cook?

Absolutely. Eligibility for bulk billing depends on your Medicare card, not your suburb. We welcome patients from right across the Wyndham corridor — Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, Williams Landing, Point Cook, Werribee, Laverton and Wyndham Vale — all bulk billed for standard GP consultations.
