Doctors Who Speak Your Language
Healthcare is easier in your own language. Our Truganina doctors and clinicians speak Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Telugu, Arabic, Gujarati, Bengali and more — so you can explain how you feel and understand your care with confidence.
Care That Speaks Your Language
Truganina is one of Melbourne's most multicultural communities, and our team reflects it. Between our doctors and allied health clinicians we speak more than 14 languages — including Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese and more.
Seeing a doctor who speaks your language means nothing gets lost in translation — symptoms, medications and care plans are clearer for everyone. Tell us your preferred language when you book and we'll match you with the right clinician.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have doctors who speak Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu in Truganina?
Yes. Several of our GPs speak Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu fluently, and our wider team speaks many more South Asian languages. Let reception know your preferred language when you book and we will match you with a doctor who speaks it.
Can I see an Arabic-speaking doctor?
Yes, we have Arabic-speaking clinicians at the clinic. When booking online via HotDoc or calling (03) 9958 6699, tell us you would prefer an Arabic-speaking doctor and we will arrange it where availability allows.
How do I request a doctor who speaks my language?
When you book — online through HotDoc or by phone — simply tell us the language you are most comfortable speaking. We will do our best to book you with a clinician who speaks it, or arrange a suitable alternative.
Is care with a multilingual doctor still bulk billed?
Yes. Seeing a doctor who speaks your language costs no more — standard GP consultations are fully bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders, 7 days a week. Just bring your Medicare card.
