About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide assessment and intervention services to clients with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties, including paediatric and adult caseloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Provide evidence-based intervention for speech, language, literacy, and social communication difficulties
- Work with clients presenting with developmental language disorder, autism spectrum disorder, apraxia of speech, stuttering, and other communication challenges
- Conduct feeding and swallowing assessments and provide mealtime management plans
- Develop individualised therapy goals in collaboration with clients and their support teams
- Deliver services in clinic, home, school, and via telehealth
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists, and other team members
- Prepare reports and documentation for NDIS and other funding bodies
About You
- Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
- Experience working with paediatric and/or adult clients
- Knowledge of NDIS processes and requirements preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Driver's licence and access to a vehicle
