STI Testing

Many STIs have no symptoms, which is why regular testing is important if you're sexually active. We recommend testing if you have a new partner, have multiple partners, or have had unprotected sex.

Testing usually involves a simple blood test and/or urine sample. Results are typically available within a few days.

We Test For:

Chlamydia
Gonorrhoea
Syphilis
HIV
Hepatitis B & C
Herpes (HSV)
HPV screening
Mycoplasma genitalium

Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Erectile dysfunction is more common than you might think — it affects around 1 in 5 Australian men over 40. It can be caused by physical conditions (diabetes, heart disease, medications) or psychological factors (stress, anxiety, depression).

Your GP can help identify the cause and discuss treatment options:

  • Lifestyle changes: Exercise, weight loss, reducing alcohol
  • Medications: PDE5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis) are effective for most men
  • Treating underlying conditions: Diabetes, heart disease, depression
  • Specialist referral: Urologist or sexual health specialist if needed

Testosterone & Male Hormones

Low testosterone can cause fatigue, low libido, mood changes, and difficulty concentrating. While testosterone naturally decreases with age, significantly low levels may benefit from treatment.

Your GP can arrange blood tests to check your hormone levels and discuss whether treatment might be appropriate. Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) requires specialist oversight in Australia.

Symptoms of Low Testosterone

Fatigue and low energy
Reduced libido
Erectile dysfunction
Mood changes or depression
Loss of muscle mass
Increased body fat
